I honestly don't understand the logic of some people on here. 29 year olds are 'has-beens', and our own youth players are not good enough at 19, having played 3 professional games. Do these people have any idea how you blood youth players into a first team?

Ramsey said the other day on talksport that we need up to a whole new back lines worth of players to add to the squad. So if Perch is one of 3 or 4 new defenders I have no problem with this signing. Very handy squad player who can play in various positions (which is vital in a long championship season) and is experienced in this league which will help as most of our signings have been younger players who havent played as much in this division

To be fair to him, he was one of their best players. Austin was relegated with us, that doesn't make him a sh!t player. Just my tuppence worth.

That's not really how football works though, is it? There are only so many players that can play in the PL and the Championship...it doesn't mean that players in the divisions below aren't any good.
