Farking 40yo keeper. Signing of the season.
We replace a potential future English international with a farking last payday, geriatric rightsort.

Agree with you mate.Originally posted by Ginger Ninja View PostAs backup for a season? Hell yeah. Not first choice obviously.
As for the happy clapper remark, grow up a bit eh?
If Jaaskelainen has looked after himself there is no reason why we shouldn't consider him as a backup to Greeno for a season. Brad Freidel only left Spurs a few months ago and he's 44. If a keeper still has his reactions there is no reason he shouldn't be able to play on into his 40's!

Mark Schwarzer 40 recently at the champions, Shay Given FA Cup Final last year!!! an old keeper is actually one area of the pitch an oldie would not bother me as long as their agile still. rather have an experienced keeper that can take a catch and command his area then a rookie who is a calamityOriginally posted by Tarbie View PostAgree with you mate.

Fair enough, would like to see a younger keeper as backup, not because of the age specifically, although he's not one for the future.Originally posted by Ginger Ninja View PostAs I said mate, Jaask would make a pretty decent backup for Green. Wouldn't be happy if we signed him as first choice tbh.
But one that can learn and train with Green. But one with experience in lge football.

Young? He's 32 mate, although I like you as I don't feel ancient nowOriginally posted by Ginger Ninja View PostWouldn't have minded keeping Murphy as backup tbh, decent young keeper.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Well if it helps us understand how he's rated at Wigan, seen tweets from their fans claiming he's worth £1,5 millOriginally posted by alanfullerqpr View PostI think we will get James Perch eventually about 750k is probably right
and seem pretty peed off we're offering only £500k.
Ok I know they would say that, but I get the feeling generally well thought of
