Indeed mate. I dont get why some people are so against this signing. We've all moaned about the lack of options in defence and this guy can cover all the positions plus he knows the league well and is still 29 so has a good few years in him. We need a couple more experienced heads in the squad as most of the signings we have made so far have been younger players

Some people still buy into the tired football cliche that players are finished past 28. In this day and age of sports science, nutrition and intensive training, It's really quite ridiculous.
