As you can imagine, I was hoping he'd green light the signing of Andre Ayew...

I just watched the QPR site interview with Hoos. Like him. Got more from this 10 minutes of candor than we've seen from CR thus far. Talk to us. Be straight with us. Tell us what you intend to do, then go out and get it done.

I was lead to believe he is not at the club to be buy and selling players. That is Les's job. He is more in charge of sort out Warren farm and the new stadium

Is he really responsible for the lack of spending or is he running it with the resources and philosophy handed down to him to implement ?

I think FFP is responsible for the lack of spending.

After all the spending we have done in the last few seasons, you might understand us being a little tighter these days!!

He's basically Phil Beard's replacement. And if that means we're more careful spending money then great.

This bloke is a god send if hes stopping us getting mugged anymore, was just thinking about sandro and how did anyone give permission to spend all that money on him, he was a disaster waiting to happen. Spurs must of been laughing their heads off.
You can say that about so many players, swp, samba, caulker, mutch and the list goes on. We really did buy some proper rubbish its no wonder we have been the worst club in the top flight. Hopefully this time we do it better, and dont just buy players like its football manager on the computor ever again.

Tbf to the bloke he has a fairly impressive record. He's had to step into some crisis/failed situations and turn it around; Leicester and Southampton when they were relegated to league 1 and turned them both around pretty quickly and effectively, Assisted Burnley in their return to the prem and was involved in Fulham before they made the prem.

Good job we have someone with a cautious eye on spending. Also not a bad thing it becomes common knowledge we are being far more vigilant now as if people want to try and charge us silly money for players thinking we're flush, we can simply say it doesn't fit our new regime, so either revise the price or we go elsewhere. Spent far too long having our pants pulled down.
