This may not be most realible source,but we are already short of defenders,so loaning him out just 2 weeks before kick -off don't make sense. We need 2-3 new defenders and only 1 pre season game left,so not too much time to gel.

Talk sport were reporting this morning this could happen with him going Southampton and they get a option to buy in a years time.

I think caulker will be class next year for us but if he goes we need to pull our finger out and sign at least two decent centre halves.

Would also prefer caulker to be sold and get money now.

Can't see us allow this before bringing a replacement. In fact even with him now, we need 2 defenders (CB and RB).
