    Anyone watching the Friendly today?.....

Currently 1 - 1 at HT. Diakite scored for QPR2, grego cox got it on the right wing and cut it back for Diakite to finish nicely. Kakay (U21 full back) OG for the equaliser. Faurlin whipped a free kick in from the right and it deflected off Kakay past Lumley in goal. No McCarthy, Mackie or Fer involved today.

    The line ups are:

QPR1: Green, Comley, Onouha, Caulker, Kpekwa (Hamaleinen replaced him for injury), Faurlin, Gobern, Gladwin, Phillips, JET, Austin

QPR2: Lumley, Furlong, Trialist Schorch?, Hill, Kakay, Luongo, Doughty, Diakite, Hoilett, Polter, Grego cox

4-1 to qpr2 in the end. Thought diakite looked impressive. Hopefully he'll get his chance.

It was worth watching. Some of the young players really do look quite good as well.

Was there any stand out performers? How did that Luango get on?

Regarding the new 'senior' players - Gladwin, Luongo and JET all looked decent to me. Diakite was looking good also. Not so sure about Polter.

Standout for me was yet again Michael Doughty, talented player for sure.

Polter didn't have much to do but in the second half he played a quality ball through to Aaron Mitchell to make it 3-1 and had some nice hold up play too, which Hoilett messed up

Saw from his first few games, he was a very good player. If he could sort out his atrocious tackling he'd be a great asset. The way he carries the ball, he's very Viera like. Can finish too, clearly going by pre season, 3 goals in 2 games? and also his great controlled finish against Arsenal.

Think you're right mate. Love the way he is so direct on the ball

That's what i'm hoping. If his head is straight and Chris can use his man management skills and coaching to get him anywhere near his best, like he has for phillips, then Diakite could be the standout midfielder in the division. He was class in the prem when he first came. Love my avatar pic where he left Modric, VDV and BAE in his wake against Spurs....

Longo did ok. Always showing for the ball deep but pops up in attack too. Grego cox got 2 good assists and did well seeing as he was up against Ned and Caulker for most of the game. His pace in behind was promising and something we've lacked in recent times. Diakite and Doughty looked good too. Was mainly the youngsters that stood out; grego cox, comley, kakay, lumley, Mitchell (took his 2 goals pretty well late on) were the pick

If diakate is on it we are have a hell of a talent on our hands especially at this level. Middle of the park we are quite blessed - luongo, gladwin, faurlin, diakate, doughty and Henry.

Need to get another winger or two in depending on Matty, rb and 1 more striker if Charlie goes.
