Sort of agree, but half of me does think, even if they aren't happy with it, fark em. They signed a contract for x amount of money for x period of time, and they should honour it. When it's flipped the other way and players are sitting there happy to milk it and take the wages until their contract expires, we are all told that we have offered the contract so why should they move, we should honour it etc, and it's a 2 way street.

That said, I agree with you in that I don't think Austin or Phillips are the sort to have a tantrum about it if they had to stay. After all, we aren't stopping them moving, we just want paying the right price is all.

Does make you wonder, if Les 'wasnt' here would Phillips have been off with that £7m offer..... Also could ask the same question regarding Austin and the under par offers we've had for him??.... great call from the board to appoint a DOF and 1 that has a natural bond with the club!!!

Clubs being run properly now and fantastic to see. Les has really got a grip on the financial side of things and really making a point to other clubs QPR are not a easy target anymore.

Why should we sell our prize assets on the cheap or going rate when everyone else hikes their prices sky high for British players.

Fact is if we have Charlie and matty in the team next year we have a hell of a chance of going straight back up. If a club wants to take them from us then pay up.

Munchengladbach was the team we competed against when we signed him.
There's no way they are still looking at him after all these years, especially after his performances as well.
