Never accept an opening bid.
Tell them to come back with £16m, if they up their offer to £15m - take it.
At least then we can start to bring in our favoured targets. ie. Gray, etc.
Unless of course, it galvanizes Newcastle, Southampton, Leicester, etc into offering more.....Nice little bidding war.....Lovely.Comment

Bidders are all playing a little game right now seeing how much they can knock us down. They all know Charlie is worth more than £15m but hey, when you are dealing with those mugs at QPR, why not try for a knock down price?
The way things are shaping up it is a shame we didn't have the gonads to set the price at a more reasonable £20m.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. Will the club take 15m from the next bidder? If so Bournemouth could miss out for the sake of an extra million. Seems a risky strategy.Comment

Well said Lyme Bournemouth who a few on here said we should be modelling ourselves on as a well run club then it came out that they are being bankrolled by a billionaire and have spent buckets getting out the championship although having a very decent manager.
They since going up have brought in about 8 players and broke their transfer record is it three times would be a fourth with Charlie!!! looks like their following our leadComment

Yes but if we play hardline now, that we know there are lots of potential buyers, we could end up with around that figure.

To be honest, with the market value of lots of other average players, I think £20m is about right. 25 years old, scored 18 goals in the PL in a shoite team and not injury prone.Comment

No one wants to pay more then they have too and all are waiting for the other to put the bid in and set the market for himComment

Just 1 Mil short. I would take that offer. The last thing we need is for this to drag on and on.
For the sake of 1 Mil, let's get building our squad.nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐Comment

We already have with 1 player that now has 2 knees both gone and a runner who with give you plenty of running but with no quality. Personally think we are bang in trouble and we will be closer to relegation than promotion unless we start signing more qualityI played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment
