I reckon so. I think there will be a new wage structure inline with the 15-20 k mark that's being reported. More aimed at the upcoming. However I still think we will bring in 2 or 3 gems who will warrant the extra buck and quite rightly so.

I don't think the likes of luango, gladwin, Mackie ect will boot off if we can bring in the likes of lambert on slightly bigger wages.

just can't see him coming to us , not in a month of sundays. as said he'd walk into a lower league PL team , any player would chose the premiership with its big wages and big crowds

APparently now wba are favourites to snap him up now. Pulls has gone after him.

What is it with villa and wba either wanting our best players or going for everything we want...

Perhaps were targeting wrong players if we have to compete with prem clubs for their signature

Probably because they are currently similar playing level clubs to us....PL relegation fodder

Bringing Scarlett Johanssen in as Physio is more likely to convince Charlie to stay. Actually, it's about as likely as us signing Ricky Lambert.

Don't want him, I am done with old players coming to the end of their career looking for one more big final pay off

I'd have him on loan for a season. Wouldn't pay any fee for him though.

No from me. I have been all for buying big names over the last few years, but it doesn't work.
It didn't work in the prem so imo it won't now either. We will be seen as a nice retirement.
