I'm sure the sales will pick up as more signings are announced.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,

Just renewed mine. Spending 870 quid on mine and my dad's tickets and they still charge you that bloody 3.50 booking fee...

Is there any way you can buy it without the booking fee? If there is none, then I think they are under legal obligation to include the fee in the quoted price.

I renewed earlier this week and the guy said sales were going well.
Seems to depend on who you happen to speak to by the sound of it as they can't both be right!

Maybe you don't have to pay it by phone? I did mine online, they don't mention it until you're putting in your payment details.

I've no idea, other than knowing that I got mine early, as did all the other guys I meet up with.

Not going to complain about a £3.50 booking fee, bearing in mind the price reductions. Funny how if the ST was an extra tenner with no booking fee, there would be none of this complaining.

I have been saying this for ages, its marketing, why they insist on charging this extra fee is strange, like you said they are better off adding 4 quid.

Because of the timing of the signings you'd assume sales should be going well?
                    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I can only assume that it needs to be kept separate for accounting purposes due to the possibility that it goes to someone other than the club on occasions.

Yes, if you go to the BO on S Africa Rd in person there is no fee. I go that route if I am round the bush during the 9-5 biz hours. I always see others rocking up to do the same when I'm there.

                            That's because they're peasants!
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

If they can extend the early bird makes sense as deadline of 30/06 potentially makes you miss out a month's salary unless you renew on the day. With people paying for summer hols plus lots of schools school fees aren't deducted in July/August makes it sensible in my view to carry the early bird as long as possible into summer so fans can juggle their finances.
Also can't see why with the wealth of owners who must have close workings with some major financial institutions a season long interest free scheme can't be run. The club need to retain ST holders due to the new stadium, they should be doing everything to make it comfortable to renew. I know they have reduced prices and that is to applauded but my Gold is still £100 more in early bird than a mate of mines ST at the Palace.
Hardly anyone is going to pay for a new ST next season at ours at full price, so they might as well make those renewings life as easy as possible by extending the early bird and bringing in 9 month long interest free plus a FA cup run up to quarters, the latter is hardly gonna cost em anything with our track record.
Not one poster on here has enquired about a new ST, last summer we had a stampede, so if general consensus is hardly anyone is interested in a new ST then the renewal system should be as flexible as possible.
