I have heard 20m for Austin and 10m for Phillips, no way are those two commanding of that valuation on what they have achieved, put sell on prices on them by all means but be real in the valuation of a player. Me i reckon 12m /15 tops for Austin 5/7 for Phillips is great value, with sell on clauses
I reckon your valuations are a fair assessment of what their price should be fella but unfortunately I don't think there representative of the buying and selling market in the premier league especially for English players.
There's a premium to pay whether that's fair or not and other clubs massively inflate the prices of their prize assets who are English.
As for Matty Phillips it's simple business to me. He's our key player for next year, 2 years left on his contract, English, only 24 and was is sensational form in the second half of last season. Prob worth 7 mill but if you want us to part with him you need to stump up 10 mill plus at least as he's a asset we don't want to sell unless your force us.

McLean is predominantly a left winger and Phillips is only influential on the right, plus the fact that McLean is **** means I don't think that will stop west brom chasing phillips

Saw a rumour this morning that Spurs want berahinio and are willing to offer Lennon and Townsend as part of the deal. Fingers crossed that might have some legs.

Is spelling Tweedledum that badly meant to be ironic, or can you not see to type through the bitter tears properly?

Neither is worthy of me taking the time to look up the correct spelling.

Have you got nothing better to do than pull people up over spelling at 1am? you must live a sad life or was on the pipe.

Really? aspiring to build a club from the ground up..aspiring to do things properly for a change..aspiring to invest in youth and provide a soild foundation for the club..

but don't let these important facts get in the way.

Fair enough but however we tried to ice the cake over this one the sponge is heavy and dry. Massive massive loss and whoever gets him will sign a bargain
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Happy to double our money at £8m if so. Would finance 3 or 4 signings.
Especially if we can hang on to Austin. I know that's not realistic but IF I could keep just 1.....
