That's because their plan is for a small stadium in a different part of London.

this is a high profile area, and a 40,000 capacity stadium for a Championship, (possibly future League 1 side) will not carry as much support with those approving the build.

PS. FYI, Southamption were a Premiership side when they built their ground

A stadium whether it is 15k or 40k is irrelevant the intention is to use the stadium as a catalyst to attract other things. Multi purpose stadium used all year round creates a buzz in the area; you seriously suggesting if we said as our plans were 25k ground the powers that we would come back and say no chance your 15k seats short your not building

i think you'll find that I have been pro new ground all along and have argued on here for moving every single time.

The point I am trying to get across is that local support for a new ground will be greater if Premiership football was on offer.
Li happen to think that locals amd those deciding are less likely to want a new stadium for lower league football.

Despite what West Acton may think I want about the new ground, I cannot wait for a new stadium. loftus Road is too small, old fashioned, cramped and offers lousy and obstructed views from many parts of the ground. It has no place in the Premiership.

Perhaps he meant he could have sacked Redkrapp and spent some money on new players. If QPR had done that then there is a every chance that QPR could have stayed up. QPR. Lost 5 home games in 2015 by 1 goal. A new striker to support Austin i.e. Defoe, might just have made the difference between winning or even drawing those instead of losing.

I have no confidence in Ramsey.

I said he would relegate QPR if appointed whilst you 'Happy' people thought he would keep them up.

That was the point I made too. shame some on here think QPR were doomed whatever happened in January.
Sunderland were in dire straights yet sacked Poyet and appointed someon who knew what he was doing and they stayed up. Same with Villa.

I'm just BAFFLED by this sequence: buying expensive mercs/OAPs and failing, repeat, repeat, repeat, then not buying anyone and failing. I just feel like the club skipped a sensible middle step in January: buying more wisely and just maybe NOT failing as a result? I mean this is what they are doing now - why not in January when we could have stayed in the cash cow that is the PL? Their failure to act in January makes zero sense, it is borderline criminal and simply imbecillic. Would you run your business with such apathy? Doubt it. Just baffling.
