    Merry mate

What ability has he got apart from running at players and giving the ball away after his touch puts it 10yards in front of him.

He's goal to games ratio is poor for a striker/winger

20k a week to sit on the bench is good business is it?

He was that good he got released last time and he didn't set the championship alight at forest or reading so for a good championship player I'm confused as he had one good season with us and done nothing since.

Mackie is a very ordinary player, but he puts in a shift and for many fans that is what seems to count.
I am not excited by his re-signing, but understand why Ramsey has done this.

Think Mackie will quiet a few on here.typical rangers fans all too quick to s.lag anyone off Instead of supporting. reckon we must have at least 10 prem quality players posting on here ffs.

We sold him for £1m and got him back on a free. Given the number of players we need to sign this window I think it's a good bit of business. Not every player we sign will tick all the boxes.

Some right plebs on here who for some reason have it in for a player who grafts his nuts off and actually causes defenders nightmares.
Half you don't want to admit but you been spoilt with the so called big Na,e Charlie signings that have done f all for us. You don't spend most your footballing career in the championship or premier league of your just a headless chicken. It's a load of bull.
Mackie. Not the most technically gifted but he has other aspects to his game which are highly desirable for our re build.

This talk about Forrest fans and reading fans being glad to see the back of him is rubbish to. The majority of them wanted him to stay. Reading fans are up in arms that we nicked him.

Will give his all when needed, we need a squad of players that want to play football for this club and earn there wage.
Mackie is a good player to have as will give everything he can for us when called upon.

Too quick? He was here for long enough for people to form an opinion, and he doesn't appear to have improved vastly since then.

Most are not 'slagging him off', more pointing out that he has a few weaknesses in his game that might suggest he isn't the best signing we could have made.

The majority of those who came down on the 'No' side of the poll, seem to be of the opinion he can do a job as a squad player, even if they didn't want him to sign.

I hope he sets the world on fire for what it's worth. Can't see it, but would love to be wrong.

Not jumping through hoops, excuse the pun but it is what it is.

Good attitude just hope he's learned to try and pass a ball or go around a player as opposed to run into them 9 times out of 10.

I'll support him 100% every time he's selected.

They wanted to buy him but we hijacked it and he loves rangers and chose us.

So if you don't agree on here your in the wrong then hey!!!!

Mackie is a one trick pony who gives away the ball 80% of the time and has done nothing since leaving the club.

That's my opinion and I'm entitled to it the same as you are.

He's happy to be back as he's found another mug to pay him a million quid a year.....
