The problem with Fer is that he will want to leave QPR just as he did Norwich.

On the other hand, if he wants to stay there is no way I would sell him. He would be an outstanding midfielder in the Championship and his goal scoring would be in double figures.

QPR could play hardball with the players and insist on keeping Fer, Austin & Phillips. Of course the FL's FFP rules make it very difficult to keep them all on, but if the Club's accountants can find ways to manage the funds better it's possible given that players like Barton & SWP have gone from the wage bill.

Get rid of Hoilett, possibly Caulker along with Onuoha, if the latter two are on big wages, and the fees received could pay the wages of the above 3 'star' players.

I don't know how it works tbh though. Whilst footballer's wages are always spoken about in weekly figures, I am fairly sure they're paid monthly.

If so, I would imagine that's his monthly nett pay so his gross would be nearer £145k (being in the top tax bracket).

No-one talks about net salary - all salary is generally reported gross as that would be the figure in the players contract.

Not when the figure in question is te amount physcially paid into a bank account.

His middle east loan spell ended months ago (January ?)

Green is not on BIG money anymore, he signed a new 2 year deal last summer with a relegation clause.
Likewise Sandro, so should not be on 142k a month next season.
Unless he leaves, in which case he'll have to move abroad, unless his Visa issue is resolved !

                        Didn't read your earlier post!

If that is true though, that bank manager has some confidentiality issues...!

Though most of the fees received would have to go towards 2 to 3 CB's because we would only have Clint left !
