Because they aren't stupid enough to pay the sort of money Blackburn did. His value is hugely inflated and as per my post above, makes him an unattractive proposition. Prem clubs wont pay it as he's never played in the prem and could flop big time, and championship clubs wont pay it because it's simply unrealistic for a championship side unless a massive gamble in the hope he fires them to promotion, which with Blackburn and the likes of Fulham who splashed on McCormack, it didnt work.

Never gonna happen mate. Especially now that we don't seem to be chucking money around this pre season. Blackburn will want a ridiculous price for him and he will command stupid wages.

Clubs will thrown money at foreigners, as they will have some pedigree in their leagues, but they wouldnt pay such money for a foreigner who had never played top flight football in a decent league, same as Rhodes.

Bamford's a perfect example of how inflated Rhodes's sking price would be..... Bamford will probably be sold for about £5m max and was the Championship player of the year, Blackburn, and some people on this board who i presume are Rhode's agent and PR Manager, would have you believe he's worth £15m.

Then look at recent times, Austin sold for under £5m to us.

Then look at other deals, Pudolski just left Arsenal for ony £2m ffs.... yeah ok, rhodes at £15m seems logical.

Really? Bamford hasn't hit 20 goals in a season (yet). Rhodes is a virtually guaranteed 20 goals a season player at this level.

I agree £15m is a probably too much but if Troy Deeney was valued at £8m last season - that is a much better comparison to Rhodes' value.

Bamford offers a lot more to the team than Rhodes.
