So this is the big announcement............... dear gawd.

When all else fails, just throw in a planning aplication to keep the fans happy.

Thats part of any big building structure hits, you have to submit untold plans until the 'queen' is happy with them and approves it.

Any news on the stadium? Things were supposed to progress in April? Or are we now waiting until we are back in the PL?

The plans initially went through last time. The sticking point was the opposition that that decision recieved. Let's not get too excited just yet. Submitting a request for planning permission means very little.

Im excited, when you put in plans and then get opposition, you revise the plans to keep the opponents happy and then its all systems go if they are not utterly ridiculous plans, which a training ground is not.

Kinda surprising he doesn't just build things without planning permission and then have the planning authorities order him to pull them down.....

How is this anything but a good thing? New training ground, better facilities, better base for an academy, more youngsters being trained and hopefully coming through...great news I say.

Hopefully it gets approved. Not sure if it deserves a pre announcement on the weekend as it is only a re submission of planning permission and there is no guarantee it will be agreed to. Doesnt bother me that much though

We have a new training ground? Not the first time plans have been submitted. Not that difficult to submit something, is it? Can be done on a daily basis if someone wants to. To finally get an approval and to actually build it, now that is something I will reserve my joy for.
