TF has done what he felt is best throughout his time with us and put huge amounts of money where his mouth is.

Ultimately it was not TF that halfarsed and lazily kicked the ball out straight to the PFA player of the year in the last minute, or missed the penalty, or slapped an opponent in the b@lls during a relegation 6 pointer etc etc etc etc

You made a very disparaging remark about Americans so it seems pretty obvious why Winston Churchill's mum being American is relevant, since he is held in very high regard by most English people.

As for Roosevelt's quote, in case you really didn't get it I'll explain it: he is saying that whenever somebody tries to do something ("who does actually strive to do deeds") there are always critics, but they don't matter ("It is not the critic who counts"). Tony is doing something by planning to build a 40,000 seat stadium. At the end of the day he will either succeed or fail but he will have tried ("and who at worst, if he or she fails, at least fails while daring greatly"). And however it turns out, all the criticism in the world will be irrelevant.

This was in response to your post that was critical of his attempt to build a 40,000 seat stadium.

So where are all the congratulations on WATRB from the majority of fans who allegedly still want him to stay? Perhaps I overlooked that thread? Confused.com.

Why would you wish happy birthday to someone when they won't read it. I assume TF ain't a reader on here so bit of a pointless thing to do.

It was my uncles birthday yesterday and he doesn't like football so should I wish him a happy birthday on here knowing he won't read it.

Good point. He probably only reads his pre-whitewashed Twitter feed.

I don`t think people give two s hits whether Winston Churchill`s mum was American or not ,so no ,its not relevant .
Roosevelts quote also has no relevance to QPR ever being able to fill a 40,000 stadium because
1 the critics DO actually matter ,because the critics are fans ,and we were here long before Fernandes and will be here long after he`s gone.
2 so he will either succeed or fail , but he will have tried ?? No sorry , thats not good enough
,this is the future of our club he`s playing with.

Plus the fact i doubt very much whether Roosevelt was considering QPRs ability to fill a 40,000 stadium ,when weve only got 14,000 odd home fans ,when he made the quote .

Oh boy. You'd have to debate that with FDR but unfortunately he is no longer with us. However, his wisdom lives on, long after his death, to be understood and appreciated by millions, whereas your obtuse comments will, thankfully, die with this thread.

Yes, it was very wise to provoke Japan into entering WW2.
