QPR coach Chris Ramsey is hoping Armand Traore will grit his teeth and answer his club’s call to arms at Aston Villa tonight.

The Rs coach has the option of playing 36-year-old Clint Hill on the left. But with Villa offering pace in abundance down that wing, Ramsey awaits medical reports on his French-born player with only 16 appearances behind him this season – the last in the 2-1 defeat to Hull on February 21.


Ramsey explained: “Armand’s got a slight calf, and picked up a few niggles here and there, but I’m hoping he’s going to be in the squad, because he’s been a big miss for us.”
