being sensical now, the positive that should be taken from the goal (other than its sheer beauty) was that everyone was watching it on BT and hopefully Phillips' recent blinding form gets us a few extra million back if and when a prem club comes a-calling in the summer.

IF (still a big if) we go down next season and do end up having to sell, Austin, Caulker, Phillips and Fer will surely get us a huge huge inflow. 3 homegrown players, 1 world cup goalscorer.

Great goal. But why is he stuck on the left? He is clearly more comfortable on the right and has been our most creative outlet recently. If we are accommodating SWP then stick him on the left. Austin was crying out for Phillips to be playing on the right wing
