If it's only a mile and a half away from where we are now, why the panic over moving?....That's absolutely no distance to travel, especially in London surely -
No I don't, however, the place is going to be a multi-purpose venue and will be pulling in people from all over.
But anyway, do you know how many pubs have gone from the bush and if the remaining ones will be around for a long while? We can't base our future on a few pubs!Leave a comment:

Do you think the demographic is going to any different a mile and half up the road at Old OaK ?The area is changing massively. Have you not seen the demographic change over the years?
How many pubs have now gone and how many of those remaining do you think will survive? Do you think those pubs can survive with QPR fans popping in once a fortnight?
Changing times I'm afraid. That's the way of the world.Leave a comment:

I respect the fact the majority of people are up the move , and the facilities at a new ground would undoubtably be better than LR ,but its more than that imho

Yep ....spot on.But surely thats not entirely his decision? Warnock wanted SWP, presumably Tony backs him and tells Beard to get it done. I'm not saying he is completely free of blame but the way some people talk, its like they think its entirely down to him that we have these crap players on high wages.
Big name signings were wanted by Tony/Warnock/Hughes/Redknapp and Beard got them done at a price that the board and various managers accepted at the time.
Like I said, don't think he is blameless but some of the hate for him seems way over the top.Leave a comment:

Beard imo came across well to the media but didn't actually do anything worthy of his position. Let down and glad he is gone.

I don't get why people hate Beard so much. Wasn't his job negotiating deals for players picked by the management? hardly his fault if they turned out bad. Did he pay too much? maybe but sometimes big name players need more cash to come to a club like QPR.Leave a comment:

And all the " head in sand "trust Uncle Tony " and everything will be fine ,really #### me off too .Will the club be around though ,with the fine from FFP and the possibility of a massive debt hanging over us ,if we do go down and TF dosnt get the new ground and decides to walk ?Well said - all the "flat eathers" really #### me off. Yes I love Loftus Road I've been going there for the past 40 years but it simply isn't fit for purpose in the modern football age. We need to move to generate the sort of cash needed to sustain Prem/Championships side so that we are still around for our children and grandchildren to enjoy the same ride we have
The answer to that is ,we just don`t know . What we do know is the future of the club is being gambled with.Leave a comment:

Spot onSure theres a chance with the right board it could be done right..not this lot tho. Too concerned with branding and profile and making millions. FFS they appointed Beard as CEO because of his O2 experience not what he could do for a football club. That just about sums them up. Mistake after mistake after mistake... OOC or bust.Leave a comment:

Pubs are near on all gone and cookes is gone very soon. The bush aint right for a football club anymore and a lot of us on heres birthplace is unrecognisable. My nans dead now so if it wasnt for rangers i would never ever set foot anywhere near the gaff in all honesty. Its time to move imho.,
