The most encouraging quote is probably the last one where he says about seeing the youngsters in the first team.
It is a question of short term ambitions being different to the long ones at the moment. The money involved in staying in the Prem causes that unfortunately.

Well at least this confirms that the current board are here for the long term, and the new training facility is needed asap. Not matter who comes in we need this and it will take time, it's not a computer game where it takes 5 minutes to build.

It's positive and great news that they are still wanting to pursue this project.

I don' think there is anything negative about this article. Instead of going ahead with big plans for a training facility, it has been decided after researching the matter that it would be better to scale it down. Surely this is better than having built a grandiose facility which was then found not to be suitable.

Also do you want him to say the training facilities will be finished in two years and then having to come back and say, this and that happened. These things always take time especially if they are done properly.

I think the amended plans might be building plans and not planning permission, but that is not clear from the article.

He says work will be started this year so that is good news but i just wonder whether relegation might affect that decision. Not to sure if these big investors with their eyes on OOC and all the money that will bring are keen to wait around too long while we continue to stall in becoming an established top flight club and instead leak money like theres no tomorrow. Patience ran out at Caterham when they failed to make an impact.
