I just received an e-mail from a friend who works for the planning department at Ealing Council and he said that as far as he knows the Club just needs to get a modification to the plans. This happens all the time. However he did say that the current planning permission expires at the end of the year and building needs to start by then which is why Tony was talking about building beginning this year.

Ask your friend re material and non material amendments.Originally posted by jmelanie View PostI just received an e-mail from a friend who works for the planning department at Ealing Council and he said that as far as he knows the Club just needs to get a modification to the plans. Also your friend can confirm that the lease only starts once the project is complete.

Saying you don't care if we tumble all the way down the leagues to the 11th tier of English football is the equivalent of saying you're completely ambivalent and couldn't care less if lose match after match after match....Originally posted by vblockranger View PostShrug...doesnt bother me mate honestly. Ranegrs are rangers no matter what league. Been my club since i was a nipper and always will be no matter what league.
Can you explain how is that being a 'supporter' in the true sense of the word?
Sorry but I'm honestly struggling to understand such a lackadaisical mindset.

Perhaps for some, it would be better if:
1. The club abandons plans for the new training ground.
2. The club abandons plans for the new stadium.
3. The shareholders swallow the debt and put the club up for sale.
4. It is sold to a fan or an ex-player.
Wonder where we will be in 5-10 years time?Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

What i am saying is that it doesnt matter to me what league the club play in i will always support them. Are you saying that if they drop to 11th tier you would stop?Originally posted by Stanley View PostSaying you don't care if we tumble all the way down the leagues to the 11th tier of English football is the equivalent of saying you're completely ambivalent and couldn't care less if lose match after match after match....

I want rangers to win football matches too but i would prefer it to be at Loftus Rd and not to be surrounded by neutrals and tourists. Its bad enough now tbh as i have noticed more and more of them since we have been in the prem this time. Nature of the beast i suppose and all part of this over hyped Premier League experience.Originally posted by Stanley View PostNo I wouldn't, difference is though I actually want us to win football matches and am not ambivalent about us tumbling down the leagues into far-flung obscurity.

I don't get you V, the idea is to reach the the top or try to get there. Are you saying that if we did this you will no longer support us and make life as difficult as possible for QPR to go back to 1977?Originally posted by vblockranger View PostI want rangers to win football matches too but i would prefer it to be at Loftus Rd and not to be surrounded by neutrals and tourists. Think i have made it pretty clear i will always support rangers no matter where they are or what league they play in. Just dont want to move from Loftus Rd and sell our soul. They have been trying to turn a small club into a big club for 3 years and failed utterly so tbh i cant see them succeeding in the move anyway. Fingers crossed. Btw if you can take football back to 1977 it would be fantastic as it was miles better than it is today.Originally posted by MYU View PostI don't get you V, the idea is to reach the the top or try to get there.
