Pointed out by Croydon but this thread should definitely be more discussed. He absolutely deserves this award and just shows how good a player he is. 5 goals and an assist in 5 matches and must be one of the only players to get a red card and still be player of the month in the premier league. A testament to his talent and ability. He deserves more than a relegation scrap and I hope next season, if we stay up and he extends his contract, he will get what he deserves as a player."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. Not often a player gets an award like this in the full of multi million pound players, when his team is so toilet and badly out of form. And i know I can state for a fact that no payer has ever won potm after his team just broke a fifty year old 'fail'.Comment
