Sherwood will be appointed precisely because he's not the man to do that. He'll chase after players we've heard of, which is what TF wants in his team.

If Sherwood really did want to build a team from the ground up he's had plenty of opportunities to take over a Championship side. But he's not interested.

Had you heard of Pochettino before he joined Southampton? Did you know much about Michael Laudrup or Ronald Koeman as manager? Brendan Rodgers flopped at Reading then was surprisingly offered the Swansea job.

I wouldn't have suggested any of the above, but then again I'm not running a football club. We should be scouting for managers in the same way proper clubs scout for players (i.e. actually looking for them, not just talking to agents and our mates).

There are plenty of good managers out there. I just don't trust our board to find them, or even to try. No doubt Tim Sherwood's agent is already busy interviewing Phil Beard.

I don't think we played as badly against Burnley as some seem to think. If Caulker's header at the end goes in and Charlie puts it in instead of hitting the post, and everything else stays the same, people would be saying how well we played!

I don't think Harry has lost the dressing room. So far as I can see, the loss to Burnley was just same old same old. We've seen it all season away from home. By the same token, I don't see any reason to suppose we won't find some form at home again, as we have done regularly this season.

I was at Burnley and I largely agree with you, but this is just another reason to get rid of HR. The players are mostly trying and working - this isn't the 12/13 situation yet - they've just got zero organisation or planning.

It's not always about 'players trying' it's about poor buys, poor tactics, poor substitutions etc, culminating in us being in the relegation zone. I'm sure the players are trying very hard, it's just they're being led by a team of clowns clearly.

I'm not saying Sherwood is the only option. I'm saying that of the managers I am aware of who are out of the job, he is the prime candidate in my mind. If we can find a better manager who is largely unheard of in this country then great.

Klinsmann doing well with the US national team, but why leave that and come to QPR.
Bielsa - very under rated but for me one of the best in the world (look him up) gaffa at Marseille so again why QPR.
Laudrop - Might have a chance with him. Living in the middle east so that or west london? Depends how much he misses proper football.
Deshamps - Got France back up to one of the world elite, so why QPR?
Bilic - Good manager but at Besiktas. Guess he would like to come back to England to manage, but I can't imagine going from Besiktas to QPR.
McClaren - Knows the squad & club, but has a good thing at Derby and probably swapping places with us next season.

People saying, Sherwood isn't the answer... Well how the fvck do you lot know if he is the answer or not?!!.. He did well at Spurs, good young manager. Brings through youngsters and cares about the academy. Why would he not be the answer? - If you think he is not the answer because of his Adebayor salute then you need to grow up!

It's more a case of he shouldnt even be a realistic consideration for most jobs because he's done nothing in the game as a manager to warrant it. There are countless people out there who've earned their stripes over years learning the trade who dont even get a sniff, yet Sherwood, who was given a caretaker role for 20 games just because he was in situ and the Manager got sacked is suddently head of the queue for all jobs thereafter.... It's ridiculous!

Also the fact as detailed above that his time in charge was littered with some embarrassing performances and even more embarrassing interviews says to me he certainly isnt cut out to manage a premier League club yet. He also managed to lose most of the dressing room if to be believed, and this was someone who already knew them and didnt have to come in fresh and win them over. That speaks volumes.
