We deserved nothing from that game - we were pathetic. Caulker, Austin and Green did well but the rest of the team were awful. I expect to lose to Arsenal at the Emirates, but the manner in which we lost was disappointing. My anger towards Traore and Hoilett turned to laughter - they really are useless. We need some pace in the team. The pitches away from home look huge for these players - too many are far too slow

We had nothing in the middle of the park against Arsenal and on that bigger pitch.
My 12 year old turned to me and said "look Dad Charlie and Vargas are closing down more players than the midfielders"
Agree about pace, the pace and fitness levels of the Premier League is unbelievable and we have pace but harry tends to pick too many slow players near each other. Our right today looked ok with isla vargas & mutch playing near each other but you compare that to kranjar, traore (who has pace but is a headless chicken) and caulker with charlie in front of them all. Then add henry and rio in the central positions to the already slow left hand side. No wonder we leaked space, possession and goals down that side.Comment

Isla had a very good game and also Rio done nothing wrong. Troare was a weak link and krancjar and Mutch complete passengersComment

Traore just can't defend and Hoilett struggles to beat a man and cross a ball. Basically, neither fit for purpose

I don't blame any of the players.... it's 'Arry and the coaches. Our whole set up and selection indicated we'd virtually conceded the game and were targeting Sunday game instead.; can't expect players to perform if there's a tacit understanding they should be conserving themselves, taking it easy and keeping plenty in the tank for next game.Comment
