Only part of his job he got right. He never done us a favour giving the pen as it was a pen lets not praise him for actually doing his jobComment

Got to be thankful for that pen, or it would of been totally different, and lets admit, little clubs like us dont usually ever get them shouts,Comment

He was utterly incompetent - possibly the worst I've seen since Attwell's display in that legendary Birmingham match a few years back. Not biased as such, just inept. Thought both sides suffered as a result.Comment

He was shocking. Both ways tbf, at one point Berahino (sic) out ran Caulker and Caulker had him held back with a handful of shirt and the red gave nothing - other way round I would have been fuming! But yea , all in all a very very poor ref today. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

Terrible ref, gave lots of free kicks for nothing and missed blatant ones.
With Joey's penalty looked like a rabbit in headlights and just didn't know what to do. Did not wave his hands showing no pen or book Barton for diving, just didn't have a clue.
Looked completely out of his depth tbh, unless he just had a really, really bad day at the office.Comment

I'm always critical of refs, but that guy yesterday was unbelievably bad.
As the bloke behind me described him, consistently inconsistent.
Decision after decision just absolutely baffling.
As for the lino on our side we was dead in line for at least 3 of his truly shocking decisions. In R block we were perfectly in line. He was atrocious.
Even a decision on a throw in from 2 yards away he made the wrong call.
16 fouls we committed yesterday by all accounts. Half of those were complete nonsense.
If the fa do send an accessor to watch these clowns, this bloke should be banned for yesterday's shambles.
Terrible performanceComment

He was awful. Missed obvious stuff and gave for nothing. Clueless.
Also the pen was blatent and not your std hussle at a corner. The first part when Morrison had arms locked round Fer was normal stuff and wasn't given, when it should be, it was when he pulled him back he gave it. That was the right call, BUT, when he gives the pen how is it not a red card!!!? Fer was 2 yards out and about to smack the ball into a gaping net, so how on earth was that not "denying a goal scoring opportunity" as the rule goes....? Pathetic.Comment

Barton should have had a pen too, as Morrison had lifted his leg up and made some contact).
The pen he gave, should have been given for holding Fer in the 1st place.
I know it happens at every corner, but it is still a very clear foul if the ref sees it, and it shouldn't matter if refs have to award pens a game Defenders need to get back to marking and beating opponents to the ball rather than simply stopping them from getting there first.Comment
