You might well use that sarcastic tone although the Club certainly shouldn't have to pay him this weeks salary.

His wife should be living here anyway. Ridiculous swanning off like that at a critical stage of the season.
Like I said he shouldn't get paid allbeit he will do.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

She was obviously pregnant when he came to the Club, so it could have be arranged then as part of his contract. Also we don't know all of the circumstances.

I remember a number of years ago Martin Allen was refused permission to take time off to be with his pregnant wife and there was an awful fuss about it.

I think we men should get time off for this, I don't have any kids but if I was due one I'd want to be there for this moment.

Good point..... makes me wonder if it's even his. Actually, is she even up duff? Makes me wonder if it's just a scam to get xmas home with the family. I should explain I'm assuming he might have same morals and loyalty to his employer that I have...... basically I'm applying my own standards here.

As he brought up the topic, I was wandering around some antique shops in Lewes this afternoon and spotted this:

You probably can't make it out, but there appears to be an original price sticker on it showing £3.50.

The shop's tag indicates you can now buy it for £56.

blimey B, that was a good find.....as rare as hens teeth now! Wonder what the condition is? £56 still a bit pricey.....if that was in a charity shop, a fiver at the most I reckon. Thanks for taking the pic btw, love seeing it around still!!!

If only, but could always give Matty Phillips a go there, he's a big quick unit, and could help to build his confidence up as seems to be lacking at the moment.
