    Things We've Learned Tonight

    Henry should not be dropped
Barton is now giving goals away with his mistakes (a huge let off against Liverpool)
We score so many own goals, bad luck or poor defensive positioning?
    Mutch doesn't do we much
Vargas up front can be a hassle. Difficult to drop Austin but wouldn't mind seeing Zamora and Vargas up front.
Phillips is still s hit e

I'd like to start without Joey, we were doing alright just before he came back into the squad.

I said that about Mutch a few weeks ago, think it's too early to say that about him now. He's just come back and will need some games to get up to speed, let's give him some more time.

I did see glimpses of a good player in there somewhere, hope he comes out next few games.

It would explain the way he plays, I suppose.

barton puts in a shift , he's on record dissing stats , he sayes we can all play safe 10 yard balls but you have to take a risk now and then and play balls forward that may be intercepted. i don't know if we play better with or without him but the fella is a trier

It was him arsing up the 10 yard passes that started the rot tonight. It was about the third or fourth pass misplaced that led to the first goal.

The thing is, a player like Henry is aware of his limitations and adjusts his game accordingly, Barton thinks he's better than he is.

Yep you're right, he's tried my patience quite a bit lately!

                          Phillips is Not shite
                          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I would agree with that. I would also say he isn't very good - at least at Prem level. He, Mutch, Yun, Onounha and to some extent Barton showing their limitations at this level.

I thought Onuaha kept Lukakku very quiet...without the ball he's very good...it's a shame his distribution is poor..
