Before leaving The UK, I was responsible for moving The BT Yahoo help desk over to Bangalore India - when I first arrived in Canada, I worked for a U.S. mobile phone company in tech support & also supported The Obama mortgage modification program when the recession over here was in full swing (in layman's terms, we were trying to prevent American home owners from topping themselves).

Credit where credit is due; although all admins/mods were running around like hamsters with rabies yesterday; the true hero of the day was Alan - He had 24 hours of hell getting things back up, which also included driving to the server centre & sitting outside demanding answers.

well my asking for help post on lfw was taken down for no reason....they really have an inferior complex over there....maybe i got jiggy with one of their admins grannys or great aunts back in the day either way its a jolly bad show they way treat fellow rangers from here over there.....now realise how mr singh felt when he opened the corener shop oppo wormholt pk in the early 70,s!.....my ol mum called him gunga for three years til he told her 'my name is jack'??....WHICH STILL COULDNT BE RIGHT!
