He ripped us a new one, so i totally care what he does two games a season, 'against us'. I hope he plays dog shi te them two games. Think he got booed for a few things, wasnt very humble to the club that started him, when so many players seem to do it as the norm these days. Ie Crouch and that ex chelsea geezer who was only on loan at west brom but didn't celebrate when he scored for everton against them this season.Originally posted by Jimmy Rabbit View PostSimple question. What did you expect sterling to do?
He's a Liverpool player.

I didnt boo him, not my thing, but i can see why some chose too. I mean they boo players that still play for us, so its hardly a shock when a kid we nurtured from a boy gets it.Originally posted by stationcafe View Post^^Raheem left here when he was still a kid, it's not like he ever played for us. Anyone giving him bother at LR is a mug and gets no respect from me, they should be happy a local kid/footballer has made it.

Think the locals were very proud of a young local lad come good that we helped develop hence the standing ovation when his name was announced but ask yourself what happened in between to turn a standing ovation into jeering!!!!!!!!!!!!!Originally posted by stationcafe View Post^^Raheem left here when he was still a kid, it's not like he ever played for us. Clearly a very very decent player who is a joy to watch but as I said don't forget your roots as Kev says being humble costs nothing

I think he got a bit of abuse for 2 things.
1. he moaned so much at the ref for not getting a free kick he basically pressured the ref to giving the second moments later = goal.
2. He gave some stick back to fans in SAR who had been giving him some (that's what it looked like to me anyway - of course I could not hear it).
Bottom line is he was the difference today. Electrifying on the ball at pace.
Fans tend to abuse players that scare them. He got abuse.
