Yeah he does look slimmer, but can he play a competitive match for 90mins? Think Ill judge him by some one who's seen him play, who's seen him train NOT on a couple of pictures in the paper!

What people who want to defend him forget is this is professional football and the premier league is the highest level out there. He might not look fat to you or me in pictures and the man on the street would prob kill for his physique but at the highest level of football that he is expected to play he is probably overweight for his size with regards the amount of fat he carries on his body mass. Football today is not just a sport its scientific process where they measure everything about you to ensure when you go on the pitch your at you peak and optimum that includes no just being fit and your weight but also how your refuelling your body

A footballer gets one career and realistically only needs to dedicate his life to it for say 15years in the modern game in which period he can make bundles of dough and then from the age of 35 for the next 40years they can balloon up to the size of a house like Ruddock, Bruce, Shipperly and Barnes etc have done.

Adel for all his ability is wasting his career and as said previous those that keep defending his half hearted efforts at representing our club are actually no better then him with regards his attitude and I would go as far as to say you are partly responsible for the mess he currently finds himself. I have no idea if he or his hangers on read these messageboards but if he did he will be reading that his attitude is acceptable because you lot are condoning it so why put in the dedication and effort to be the best when the punters love you and are more then willing to accept you putting in half a shift because they get excited and jizz over a back heal or nutmeg
