in the pics Ive seen Adel looks like hes lost loads of weight so not sure what to believe really, but still nice to see Redknapp showing some passion after a defeat for once, would love to hear Adel's side to the story, now that would be interesting

Yeah he does look slimmer, but can he play a competitive match for 90mins? Think Ill judge him by some one who's seen him play, who's seen him train NOT on a couple of pictures in the paper!

yer thats true, but as we've seen plenty of times (Liverpool game aside) Harry's judgement is not always right. Harry said he was 3 stone overweight, well the pictures say otherwise. All im saying is id rather see Adel on the bench against Villa rather than Matt Phillips who has been poor. If Adel dont cut it then fair enough Redknapp is right, but until he gives him a chance we'll never know for sure

He gave him a chance the game before. He proved he wants to use him, do you really think he didnt want to be able to bring him on on yesterday?
The player didn't train properly and made himself not available for contention.

I have to agree about having adel on the bench over Phillips.

Infact I thought Matty was incredibly poor when he came on.
His 1st touch was not even championship lets alone premier league.

Really had high hopes for the bloke but he is failed to deliver.
I'd rather of seen Holliet come on tbh.

Hoilett is no better than Phillips in my opinion, well maybe a little better but not much. both run into trouble and have no end product, cant pass, cant shoot, cant beat a defender, and contribute little to the team

Doubt he's exactly 3 stone overweight, think Harry was just making a point that compared to the other lads he's overweight and out of shape (general fitness).

I agree I think Phillips was poor, but IMHO I'd rather Phillips on the bench rather than an unfit Adel.

It's obvious that Harry was exaggerating with the 3 stone thing. He was just emphasising the point that Adel is overweight.

I mean. If you call someone a pen1s..... you don't actually mean that they are literally a phallic muscle......

i used to love training at his age , if he does not then he's in the wrong game . show him whos in charge fine him until he gets fit. still doesn't seem right to me something else is afoot

There is a bit of that on the qpr facebook site as well. A top employment laywer has said we can sack him no problem as his contract states he should have a level of fitness.
