    What was your local team?

Was QPR the closest team to you when you were growing up, or was there another team that was more local e.g. Brentford, Hayes, Hanworth etc.

Likewise, born Hammersmith Hospital - so Rangers my local team.

Wimbledon. But they were in the Southern League when I started coming to Rangers.

Hayes are playing at Maidenhead as they are rebuilding the ground. Not sure they are back in Hayes next season or not,but Maidenhead is only a few stops on the train from West Drayton.

To the OP's question,Hounslow Town FC was my local ground and watched them as a lad.

Was supposed to be born in Hammersmith hospital but roadworks or something meant I was diverted to Mary Abbots hospital behind the Albert Hall (now long since demolished) and born there. This probably means I was born closer to the scum's ground than LR. I'm pleased to say that I have overcome this early setback and lived a useful and fulfilling life. Plus I have a birth cert that says born in Royal Borough of Kensington (must've been before Kensington merged with Chelsea so I escaped the ignomy of having the "C" word on my birth cert!).
