Struggle to see what's he has ever shown, seen loads on here saying what a great player he is or can be. Never seen anything to show he could hack it at this level, agree he has all the attributes, but has no idea how to us them or the application to develop.

Way out of his depth at this level IMO. Poor performance all round from the team, but Phillips showed nothing at all, and if he scores the open goal it maybe wouldn't have been a tonking.

Think I prob have to agree, panicked when he had the chance done very little defending when he should have been helping out,

Our players were too afraid of United. You cannot defend by standing still and let the opponents move the ball with such ease. Our players must learn to 'PRESS' more and stay near to the opponents more. You can allowed such talented players all the freedom that we are now being accustomed to when we play away. If we do not know how to defend, we better play same as we play at home.
