Hughes farked up but can't solely blame him. We hauled ourselves within a few points of getting out of the bottom three. 'Arry then inexplicably changed tactics and selections just as it looked like we were getting our act together and we nose dived. Changes weren't down to injuries or anything, just 'Arry. We went from battling to complete surrender.
Half agree with you about last season but still some weird selections and tactics. Am pleased we got back up but were lucky.
I wouldn't get rid of 'Arry but for me he has struggled since joining us. Now has his own set of players and preferred tactical setup. Time for him to prove doubters wrong. One poor performance is not a disaster but will expect us to be a lot more competitive moving forwards.Comment

All in all I think Harry has done well for us. What I don't understand is why he decided to have us play 3-5-2. It seems like he did it to entice Rio here.Comment

Or Tony Out! did a gold and sullivan (but quieter) and told him he wanted much more attractive attacking football this season.Comment

Would stick with Harry for a while longer. This modern penchant for shitting your pants after 2 straight defeats, isn't for me.Comment

My problem with him isn't the two straight defeats, although the manner of the latter was humiliating. I do think there is mounting evidence for the prosecution which goes a long way back and concerns his decision making. Like I said I don't think TF will hang about if things don't improve. The new contract spin is almost tantamount to being backed by the chairman. And we all know what that means.Comment

Harry is past it. He has the tactical nous of Paul Hart with alzheimers. But he's got a luvely jubbly line in banter and the charm of the Blarney stone and he's getting all his mates in, come one, come all, come on Gazza, come and join the party my old china, I've got me feet under the table here and I tell you what, the Chairman's a lovely chap, wouldn't say boo to a goose, and when I say jump, he says how high?
Just to reiterate, the team he put out against Spurs on Sunday, with basically 6 new players who had either none or one competitive game together was, from a footballing perspective, suicidal. To me, it shows the bizarre naivety of the man. I mean, what was he thinking? Aw, stick 'em all in at the deep end and they'll sink or swim? Well we sank all right. I agree stability is a good thing, but stability with Harry comes at a high price. I guess results in the next few games will give us all a pretty clear indication of which way we're headed.Comment

Do you think he realises Gazza has retired? Maybe he wants to play him behind the strikers.Harry is past it. He has the tactical nous of Paul Hart with alzheimers.
