Giroud apparently out for 3 months....

What's the odds on Remy to arsenal now then? Will be an interesting last week of the transfer window.

Perfect end to a perfect bank holiday weekend. I think that has sealed the fate of our star striker i really do.

Can't even think of a striker we could bring in if he does go. Maybe Welbeck but doubt if he would come.

There still talking about 8 and a half million. If they lose to Besiktas tomorrow and go out of the top five this weekend, won't it be 15 million. I still have not worked out how the buy out clause works once the season has started.

Last seasons top six after last game jmel. Nothing to do with this season.

I would be surprised, a different type of striker, Giroud is a target man type of striker, plays up top on his own, according to HR, this is a role that doesn't suit Remy, and Wenger probably knows this.

I suspect Wenger would have brought him by now if he really wanted him, Wenger refused Fabragas so he is a man that sticks to his guns, we will see.

A lots of ifs and buts and a number of strikers being mentioned.

I would have thought if Giroud is only out for three months (and that is not even definite) he would want a loan, and not somebody who is probably going to want a long contract and get 80-90 thousand a week. Remy is also not really a short term solution, because he is also prone to injuries.

Let's pray Wenger decides to put his faith in Yaya Sanogo as their main and only striker until Giroud comes back

If this has happened last week, they might have taken Vargas on loan.

I'd be interested in bringing in Sanogo on loan to QPR.

I can't see Wenger agreeing to pay Remy's high wages for
what he will view as a temporary fix.
I think he'll look at other options first.
