Why suffer through growth pains to perfect the 5-3-2 system? Start four backs for now -- Caulker, Ferdinand, Onouha and Hill (Sun); three midfielders (Barton Isla Fer), and two attackers (Vargas and Remy) -- then sub in pure speed in the second half (Phillips Hoillett and Traore).

This must be a no brainier for a football coach. Both Yun and Ned are faster, energetic and more reliable then the two players currently taking their places.Originally posted by Stanley76 View PostForget the training ground, based on what I've seen of our players where it matters IN GAMES I cannot see how Harry picks Traore ahead of Yun, and Dunne ahead of Onuoha.

Said exactly the same at the time but some fans were treating it almost like a pre-season friendly and saying how happy they were with the run out etc. hopefully we will hear no more embarrassing talk about top half finish. Survival was always going tb an uphill struggle with what we were promoted with. At least no one can be under any illusions now that we are going tb in a relegation dog fight.Originally posted by Stanley76 View PostThis is why the Hull home game was always huge for me. Losing that was a big worry and doesn't bode well now in terms of players confidence. If we can't get at least a point at home to Hull then things don't look good. Today was always going to be a likely defeat.

Did Harry and Co expect a good hiding at WHL and so put out an 'experimental' side? HR certainly didnt seem too bothered at any point during the game. Lets be honest, they dont care what the fans want. If you lose 1-0 or 4-0 its still the same points so maybe, just maybe he put out a side just to see how things worked out.
The Sunderland game now takes on massive significance IMO. If we play that badly and get beaten, HR deserves all the grief he gets....2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
2015/2016, average at best.....
2016/2017, same old, same old....
2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!
Its the hope that kills you!

If Onouha plays it shouldn't be at f acking right back in a flat back four should it??? !!!! Especially when a proper right back, Simpson, is on the f acking bench. Then we might not have conceded that f acking fourth goal. F ack it.Originally posted by TexasRanger View PostDunne far too slow. Onouha should start.
Fer and Mutch quite poor in my view.
