    Keeping remy is a must.

Simple. Was actually impressed with us today. Thought we were extremely unlucky. Jammy Gits are hull.

Remy is the difference for us this yearZ

Do all we can to keep him

He is quality and showed it in the few glimpses we saw him near the ball. Only criticism today was there were a couple of breaks late on where he held it too long rather than release a runner, but overall his class shines through.

That's him to a tee, isn't it? He scores for himself first, the team second. Heigh ho. Liked the fact that we seemed to have firepower up front. Mutch is an attacking player, too.

That's not always a bad thing in a striker. Plus he's not playing alongside Messi. Give them time to meld and it'll be fine.

Thought Remy played well today. I really hope we give him a new contract because we desperately need him.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Which is exactly what a striker needs to be. Single-minded and a bit selfish.

If Austin can't take his form to his best, he should stay as Remy's sub

If he stays then we stay up, if he goes then we don't. Simple as that.

Austin is not going to cut it at this level.

Have to agree with this. Everyone just knew charlie was going to miss that pen didn't they? Everything about him from the minute it was given was nervous and he shaped up wrong. As a striker you get one chance a game in the prem is what so many people people say, and they dont mean penalties, so you have to score them. Dont think he shoúld of took it, moment was to big first game. Remy should of done it i reckon. Shame though, cos charlie worked very hard.

Based on 90 minutes of football you've already deduced that Chaz isn't going to cut it . That's impressive

What? In the 5-3-2 we play Charlie is 3rd choice?? Get real.

To be honest I thought he was fairly indifferent in the 1st half as was C A but as the game wore on he got the feel of the game and started to show his quality , Phillips also showed great attacking flair

Think after yesterday it was even more obvious how important he will be to us if he stays. Agree with one of the posts above would have let him take the penalty, me and a couple round me said the same during the delay in taking it, Austin never looked confident and needs a goal quickly now to give him a little confidence.

Would say we need another striker even if Remy stays or we will struggle for goals 19 shots yesterday, won't get that many chances every week in the prem.

Remy was in a class all by himself yesterday, though Charlie hustled throughout and we got a good first taste of Mutch. Keep Remy, sign Sigthorson and Fer this week, and watch this team grow (especially excited about Hoddle -- a HUGE pickup given our flow of play in the Championship was often awkward and aimless). VERY bullish about how this team is going to improve.
