Maybe not quite the parasite some claimed he was then? Barton cd have done the same when he was desperate to stay at Marsailles and was adamant he wouldnt drop into the championship. But perhaps in the final analysis he - unlike Cesear - liked the money just a bit too much. I appreciate this doesnt fit the popular narrative...

Always ready, willing, and able to play, just not picked. Not his fault. And always played hard when picked.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

And yet no one on here ever called him a parasite, money-grabber etc.

Listening to talksport this morning and they said ceasar has agreed to join benfica but then they followed this up with him receiving a very large payoff and talked about how morally wrong these type of players are.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Hopefully we have learned our lesson regarding the contracts we are offering now. Surely there can only be a few left (perhaps Hoilett, Barton and Remy) with stupid contracts if Cesar has moved on?!!
