As far as I know,once he rescinds the contract,he can't reverse his decision and forfeits his rights under the terms of the original agreement.

I reckon that 100k we keep seeing quoted is based on apprenices and bonuses etc and that's why he has hardly had a game. The real comparison for benfica to cover would be a lower basic figure.

Hopefully we have learned our lesson regarding the contracts we are offering now. Surely there can only be a few left (perhaps Hoilett, Barton and Remy) with stupid contracts if Cesar has moved on?!!
