Tony has indicated before that stuff is about to happen and it hasn't. I think he gets a bit excited when things are close and then things change...

Hard to believe some are dim enough to think you were serious. They really need a "sense of humour pill".

Certainly a change in stance on transfers but unfortunately at a time when TV money is at an all time high and the majority of other teams are splashing it about. Was never about spending money just spending on the wrong players, we might have enough but to increase our chances need at least another three, which our current transfer policy is putting in danger, particularly when other teams are interested in the same players. Whether you agree or not poor old Tony just can't seem to get the happy medium.

Not being funny but it was very difficult to tell he was joking going by a lot of his other posts. Saying that he has calmed down a lot lately.

I think it's more about perceptions to be honest. Only takes a big disagreement on a couple of topics for some to act the goat and behave like a dog with a bone.

Having known him for several years and see him a few times a year, obviously I get a truer picture of him. He has a very good sense of humour in the main.

I suppose being Estonian, he needs one.

Also, seeing as his version of Armani is Primark, you know he has an amazing sense of humour

I'm happy with the amount of new players so far. I maybe being naive here but if too many changes/too soon were the problem two summers ago then the 5 (incl Remy) is plenty for me.

Keep the spirit and give it a good go on day 1. Appreciate a long season, more needed.

Im not sure what is happening but if we cant get in at least two new players ASAP, we will face an uphill battle this prem-season aswell.

Tony should know better than to make those kind of predictions by now.
