Fella's a fool. And a pretend gangster. Real gangsters do. They don't threaten. I'd lock them all up, mind; real and pretend.

for £3m he could be worth a gamble, but how deep are the demons, not the brightest spark by all accounts
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

Remember Barton saying how well he trains & has a great attitude etc but as mentioned must be a reason Harry hasn't gone for him for such a low fee. Shame I did like him when on song.Originally posted by lymehoop View Postfor £3m he could be worth a gamble, but how deep are the demons, not the brightest spark by all accounts

I'm sort of in 2 minds with him... when I first read these stories my initial thoughts were 'don't go near him' and 'bullet dodged'..... But there's still this part of my that would love him back here, especially at that price. Also when he was here he wasn't any trouble, plus with the likes of Rio, Hill and Barton to help guide him on the right path he could come good. AND he could be the key to our creativity in the middle...........

spot on Nick.
we also have that new shrink at the club and along with the possibility of eileen and hodd, im sure they could brainwash errrrrrrrrrrr i mean straighten him out.
seriously though, for £3mil we'd be mugs not to at least show an interest.
quality creative player who is only 20 and was not a problem for us last season who also has plenty of time on his side to mature.
would anyone here have turned down gazza in his prime even wit all his demons?nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

Can't compare Ravel to Gazza. For starters there was a lot less media intrusion into players lives back in the late 80's & early 90's when Gazza was a youngster. Secondly Gazza was never arrested for battering his mrs (well not until after he retired anyway).Originally posted by Hitman34 View Postspot on Nick.

Personally I'd leave well alone, great player but better to let someone else take a risk on him!Last edited by Tarbie; 10-08-2014, 11:02 AM.
