just heard from terry the porter that he did not fall at the airport as first reported but someone who was supposed to chauffeur him to HQ shut his foot in the car doorOriginally posted by Hubble View PostCome on lads, don't get carried away. You know it's not official until JJB's brother has driven them to HQ.Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

Ok wrong use of the word there, but I do recall reading that the £40,000001 bid triggered the clause, but the owner chose to ignore the bid because he didn't want to accept it.Originally posted by DeepcutHoop View PostThe word 'apparently' is probably the important word there.
Without knowing the details of any clause, it's impossible to know what the club/player can or can't do.

He definitely failed one at Marseille but after discussions with several specialists, it was decided that his heart problems would not affect him unnecessarily.Originally posted by Stanley76 View PostOnly if you believe the papers. Liverpool never explicitly said that, and Harry rubbished the story too.

ferdinand had medical then signed on dotted lineOriginally posted by Mattyqpr View PostYou're right but sitting in a hospital in West London completing his medical means the only thing to do is actually sign on the dotted line. Medicals take place after everything has been agreed.TWITTER

Suarez's contract had a release clause that stated the club needed to inform the player if an offer of over 40m was made, it didn't state they had to accept it. Remy's release clause is most likely different. It all comes down to the contract and what the clause in question actually requires the club to do.Originally posted by stanistheman View PostLiverpool ignored Suarez bid from Arsenal which apparently did trigger the release clause, but their owner decided the contracts in football aren't wort the paper they are printed on.
Which brings me to why do QPR have to honour Remy's release clause?
