There will be some articles coming out Remy tonight in that the club re trying to offer him a new contract. Looking to remove his release clause if possible and Harry and the Board see him being a big player for us this season if he wants to stay.

My only issue is the example it sets. A player trying to leave for 2 years gets 'rewarded' with a new contract? Personally I think that he'd reject any offer from us, adding more years onto his contract isn't going to help him leave. Saying that though, I'd love him to stay. A real class striker.
