get rid of that stupid clause like people are saying. That stupid clause killed us, we lost a brilliant player worth 30 million for only 8.5 mill. If he didnt have that stupid clause, maybe one of the thirty clubs who battled for his services might of all left him well alone and he would be starting the season in hoops eh. Damn that pesky clause.

If the clause was not there Remy would not have become a QPR player - so the clause is brillinat because no CL team in England want him - maybe he is not good enaough

Thats the point im making, the clause made no difference to the player or the club, the only people it bothered was us fans over worrying about it and probably totally over valuing him in our minds. Cos at the moment hes not even considered worth 8.5 mill to a lot of clubs.

Look at it this way... He's gonna be 28 this year, wants a long deal on high wages, has a history of little injuries & a heart problem. The REAL big boys haven't come in for him because he's not a player that's gonna set you apart in the Champions League, he's a backup player at that level but if you're spending 90k a week or so there are better players out there. I reckon this is why Arsene hasn't gone in for him, he's aiming for truly elite players (Sanchez, Suarez etc.)

That's good news for us though, as he's good enough to be top 5 scorers in the Prem if he gets good service. Still reckon he'd be a good move for Spurs as well...

Let sign with extra wages fine by me if clause is around 20 mill. Also lets remember when he did sign for us was looking like we were going down so he did it were it was win win for us and him. Now up to Harry to convince him to stay and that we could be looking at more than just staying up. On this I do think we need one more striker so that we have very strong front line.

I think we need to get him sorted soon. The last thing we want is him leaving on deadline day and leaving us in the 5h1t for a top striker.
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                    2015/2016, average at best.....

                    2016/2017, same old, same old....

                    2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

                        What's a 'never' striker macca?
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

                              Info on Remy

There will be some articles coming out Remy tonight in that the club re trying to offer him a new contract. Looking to remove his release clause if possible and Harry and the Board see him being a big player for us this season if he wants to stay.

To clarify this way the third signing I was lauding to btw.
