As for commitment that some posters (not you) have mentioned, why is stephen caulker showing ambition for coming to us and remy being a traitor for wanting to play at the highest level?
...........Obviously not forgetting if certain players actually want to come here, how much they cost, are they the right sort, what player's are actually available!... yes we probably need 2/3 midfielder's and another striker if/when Remy goes. But taking in ALL accounts can anyone name 3/4 player's that fit the bill?SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

Think back to our lowest point relegation to the 3rd level, what did Olly do to get the right sort with no money signed as many QPR fans as he could ie Gallen Brich Rowly etr

i have been saying since he left that I expected him to return unless a CL club buy him - which is true for every player because that is the way they and their agents think - cant complain about that cos it is just human nature to want to play at the highest level you can unless you want to slate every player on the planet cos they will all go to a top 4 club given the chance.
On the pitch he has performed like a top class player since arriving in England and done it in the EPL in tricky situations too so it will be good to have him in the team.

All this he doesnt want to be here and has direspected the club is a absolute joke and the ones who say it to me demonstrate a lack of common sense and understanding.
He went to newcastle in a wc year to make sure he got a place at the world cup. It also meant we didnt have to pay 80 k a week in the championship. He played class at newcastle and the top four coming sniffing in which in his contract he has a clause that he can speak to them if they meet our valuation which we agreed with him.
Who are we to stop remy from signing for liverpool, he deserved that move and I think they are stupid to pull out of it.
Remy is a asset to our team not a liabillity. Enjoy him while hes here because I never thought hed play for us again but if he does, just enjoy it.
Really cant believe there is a debate about wanting remy here or not.
Remy has done nothing wrong last season or this preseason, yet some want him gone and think that replacing him will be simple and cheaper (it's possible but not very likely). Me, I would be happy to see both him and Austin I'm the same team.

I've just come across this gem of an article! Apparently Remy is only on 35k a week and Harry has told the board to double it in a new contract to remove the buy out clauses. Ain't half some crap out there!
