If the squad is in place prior to TX deadline day I dont mind the odd last minute deal but in recent times we have been bringing in four and five last min signings which although exciting is a no no

Sorry mem but I don't agree. The deals will take as long as they take.

Trying to rush good players into decisions when there is still about 6 weeks of the transfer window left will likely lose us most deals. Then we just have to start again on other deals and it takes just as long and we end up with signing players that weren't even near our first choice. Agree that we shouldn't be messed about by them for too long but there is plenty of time yet.

Of course, we could always just offer more money, but we've been down that route before......

Mate we all have your frustrations as fans and understand. But come on do you think the board want it to take this long to. Im sure tf and harry are both buzzing to bring players in as quick as possible. But it seems its taking longer due to players ideas of wages, competition from other clubs ect. We have been banded around as a club paying over the top for so long players now expect big deals from us. we are nowe trying to fight this reptation and im sure thats proving a stumbling block.
