I think so, he was improving all the time. Well done Bobby.

So much for the new broom approach TF referenced post Wembley. I bet EPL defences are quaking in their boots.

Love the old boy for his belated contribution, but shows how desperate we really are.

Oh come off it, the blokes a hero.. the very least the club could do was give him an extra year and shot in the prem again, now he is fit

A hero who would've been off for the right money.... just think we have to get real at some point.

There's no reason I can see not to retain Bobby. As it's been reported he's on massively reduced wages. After he recovered from his injury he started to be quiet decent and I would say that the games he played for us in the premiership he was the most consistent striker we had. Cisse started off great but was shite the year we went down, Remy was only in for 4 months and all the loans and others were shite.

What money is he going off for ? Why isn't he worth having around as a backup striker ?. He knows the club, he knows his teammates.... he's played in the Premiership for nearly a decade of his career.

Oh right ok a new deal.

Fair play to Bobby who earned it with that goal but for me he's failed since he's been here but that feeling he gave us at Wembley will stay with me forever so for that & that alone I'm happy for him & will back him to the hilt.

Bobby as 4th choice striker aint a bad option. If we need him to come on and hold the ball up for 10 15 mins and that helps us see out a game or two then its money well spent imo.

                                Good luck Bob.

11 goals in 40 starts is not exactly shocking..blighted by injury but when he has been fit as his run at the end of last season proved he can be effective.

And as for that goal!!!!!! worth a one year contract on its own!
