Hey Acts, just to give you an update mate. swp and joey barton both signed the same lengh contract back in 2012. there was no trigger which gave him an extra year. hence why he is still here.

i have said till i was blue in the face that swp still has a year to run. dont believe those stupid contract websites.

Whys that? he has turned up for preseason which he is contractually obliged to do, dont think the club will let him pick up his wage without at least training. Doubt we will see him involved in the matchday squad much, in fact doubt he will even make the 25 based on last season
