Dont see the fuss with sigurdsson. At Swansea he done well as a goalscoring midfielder in a 433 formation...we don't play that system.at spurs in a 4231(which we do play) he has struggled on the left, just off the front man and just in front of the back four. Personally I'd like to see us go 433, but I can't see Harry doing that and I don't see the point in buying a player who won't fit our system.
Carroll I'd have back, i think we could see a different Carroll in the premier lge to the one we saw get physically bullied in the championship.Though the midfielder who I'd like to see us go for before the big boys cotton onto him is, Schneiderlin

Doesnt play enough at spurs, but when he does seems to do well. Good player.

adebayor epitomises the modern mercenary footballer, would prob get a few goals before becoming disinterested.

Walker a league one player? You didn't see him I assume in an Rs shirt when he tore the Championship apart? Or for Spurs in the Prem? Oh well. But as its Naughton we are apparently interested in as Walker wouldn't come back to us until he is at least 37, I don't suppose it really matters...

naughton is L1 quality.

Walker's better and did well here but is a liability defensively - charges forward and leaves acres of space. that + a CB pairing with no pace = trouble. no chance he'll come here anyway though so no worries.
